God Created and Rules the Universe.
God as the trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit has existed eternally. These three are co equal and the One Holy God.

Jesus is the Son of God.
Jesus is coequal with the Holy Spirit and the Father. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died and was raised again after three days conquering sin and death. He is seated at the right-hand of the Father in Heaven and will return to earth again to reign as King.

The moment of salvation you are filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Son and the Father. He indwells Christians giving them the guidance and ability to do what is right and good. He gives believers spiritual gifts when they are saved. He is present in the world to show people their need for a savior and leads them to Jesus.

Salvation is God’s free gift available to everyone who chooses to believe.
All have fallen short of the standard of God and no amount of good deeds will be able to make up for the sin committed in our lives. When we accept Jesus by faith we are made right with God. Faith in Jesus is the only way to be reconciled to God. Our eternal life begins the moment we place our faith in Jesus.

The Bible is God speaking to us.
The Bible is God’s inerrant word. It was written by human authors inspired by the Spirit of God. It is the supreme truth for all Christian believers.

People are created in the image and likeness of God.
God created people in his likeness and image. However because of sin in the Garden of Eden all people have been marred by sin. Sin has separated people from God and causes many problems in our lives.

People are created to exist in eternity.
People will exist eternally either with God made right through faith in Jesus or without Him separated by sin. Faith in Jesus will reconcile us with God and we will spend eternity in Heaven. Hell is separation from God by our sin. Heaven and Hell exist and all of mankind will spend eternity in one or the other.

Water baptism is a symbol of the internal change that has occurred.
Water baptism is a command that was given to us by Jesus when a person has committed their life to him as Lord and Savior. It is not how you are saved, but a symbol of the relationship that was created when a believer responds to Jesus’ invitation to relationship with him.

Non-Essential Beliefs
These secondary theological points do not have an effect on our salvation. We have room to grow and learn together. We are allowed to wrestle with Jesus to have a better understanding of who he is. These things should not cause dispute or division in the body of Christ. On the contrary they could and should be worked through with God and you seeking out his wisdom.
